Herbal Medicine

Chinese herbal medicine is the primary treatment method within traditional Chinese medicine. There are more than over 300 Chinese herbs that date back 2,000 years and shown to enhance your health and support your allopathic care.
Chinese medicine is based on a constitutional approach. Instead of prescribing a specific supplement/medication for one condition, Chinese medicine recognizes patterns in your group of symptoms and observable signs to identify and treat the root of the issue.
For example, not everybody with low back pain will be given the same formula for low back pain. Chinese granule herbs are carefully selected by Rejuve Acupuncture. These sources test the quality of purity of all herbal extracts, to ensure there are no heavy metals or pesticides. We choose to use granule herbs instead of raw herbs for the patient’s convenience.
In addition, we provide Standard Process supplements that will either be used alone or with your Chinese herbal medicine.

Granule herbal medicine
Traditionally, herbal medicine uses the raw form of herbs that require up to two hours a week to prepare in a decoction or herbal soup. We understand the stress of living and obligation/responsibilities of our patient's free time. For convenience, we use granule herbal formulas that only require hot water. Some patient's prefer to add a lot of hot water to drink it like tea while others prefer to finish it quickly like a shot. Each formula will have their own dosage and your provider will give you instructions for use.
