Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the insertion of fine needles in various places in your body to alleviate pain, increase range of motion, and improve the body's muscular, circulatory, nervous, lymphatic, digestive, reproductive, and respiratory systems. The acupuncture points are selected through empirical wisdom from Asian medicine's broad history, modern knowledge of Western sciences, and practical application from your practitioner.
Cupping and bodywork
Rejuve Acupuncture offers cupping and Tui-Na, a form of traditional Chinese bodywork. Cupping is used on the back, arms, or legs to release the fascia, or connective tissue. It does this by creating space between the skin and muscles, between the muscles, and to break any scar tissue or adhesions. Tui-Na utilizes the acupuncture points and meridians in its massage.
Herbal Medicine
Chinese herbal medicine is the primary treatment method within traditional Asian medicine. We create individually tailored formulas that supports each patient's unique constitution while addressing their current chief complaints. Additionally, we offer supplements for patient's to support their daily health. All our herbal medicine and supplements are taken from the highest quality sources.
Clinical Nutrition
In addition to Acupuncture, herbal medicine, supplements, and bodywork, we educate patient's on what specific foods are best for their constitution. We are able to determine a patient's constitution during a new patient acupuncture intake by identifying a comprehensive pattern of patient's signs and symptoms in a differential diagnosis.
This is our approach to assist you
Understanding insurance can be difficult. Ultimately, it is the patient's responsibility to check their acupuncture insurance benefits. As a service to our new patients, we will also verify your acupuncture benefits before your first visit to make sure that we are on the same page. Sometimes there is miscommunication between what the insurance carriers say to our providers and what they say to our patients. We strive for complete transparency and wish to make the process of navigating insurance as easy as possible. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any insurance related questions, we are more than happy to help!
